VISAA State Tournament Information

The event will be hosted at Cape Henry Collegiate on 2/14 and 2/15.
If the boys place top 4, they win a bid to Prep Nationals!  Let's Go
Tigers!!!

Friday, February 14
 4:00 - Doors open to public & tickets sold. Please tell fans not to
arrive earlier than this.
 5:15 pm - Wrestling begins in this order & last match called at 10:25 pm.
 Preliminary Championship Round 1 (Round of 32) - (6 mats)
 Consolation Round 1 - mostly byes, will go real fast (5 mats)
 Consolation Round 2 - (5 mats)
 Championship Round 2 (Round of 16) - (5 mats)

Saturday, Feb 15th (Session II)
 8:00 am Weigh-ins at Cape Henry. One additional pound
 9:00 am Wrestling starts in this order
 Championship Round 3: Quarter Finals (5 mats)
 3rd round Consolations (5 mats)
 4th round Consolations (5 mats)
 4th round Championships (2 mats) Semi-Finals
 5th Round Consolations (3 mats running concurrently with Champ Semis)
 6th Round Consolations 4 mats (Consolation Semi-Finals)
 7th Round Consolations for 7th & 8th place matches, on 4 mats.
 5:00 pm (Approx.) Set up for finals & Parade of All-State Wrestlers
(placers 1-8).
 5:30 Finals medal matches for 1st & 2nd, 3rd & 4th, 5th & 6th will be
run on 3 mats in main gym.
